EXMOUTH + NANGALOO REEF
Where Desert Meets Ocean, Dive into Nature's Aquarium
Exmouth and The Ningaloo Reef hardly need an introduction. This is arguably one of the most spectacular places on the planet. Located on the Northern End of Australia’s Coral Coast, this place is home to some of the world’s best snorkeling and diving. Whale sharks, manta rays, and humpback whales visit seasonally, providing year-round activities for adventure travellers. The Ningaloo Reef is Australia’s largest fringing reef, accessible straight from the beach. All you need is a snorkel and some fins for a good time.
Whale Watching
Between June and October, Ningaloo Reef is a fantastic place to see whales as they migrate north from the Antarctic to mate and birth their calves. If you want to get a little closer, you could even join a swim tour.
Cape Range National Park
Located within the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area, Cape Range is rich and diverse in wildlife including kangaroos, emus, echidnas, birds and black-flanked rock wallabies.
Ningaloo Reef
Dive into World Heritage-listed marvel. Swim with whale sharks, humpback whales, and explore coral gardens. Exmouth gateway, coastal adventures, marine paradise.
Turtle Nesting
Flatback, hawksbill, loggerhead and green turtles can all be seen nesting and hatching on Thevenard Island, one of the 10 island atolls, between December and March.
Marvel at Charles Knife Canyon
Drive to the top of Charles Knife Canyon Road and enjoy spectacular views of this vast canyon, Exmouth Gulf and the gorge that stretches into the distance.
