Day 1 - Perth to Margaret River
Start your adventure with meaningful volunteer work at FAWNA conservation centre to see the hard work of caring for abandoned, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Walk the 19th century Busselton Jetty with views of the stunning Geographe Bay, before exploring the Ngilgi Caves ancient lands and history. In the afternoon, enjoy a taste of the world renowned Margaret River region for delicious wines, beer, gin, and sweet treats, before your first night camping under the stars at Big Valley Caravan Park.

Day 2 - Margaret River to Walpole
Today brings an epic Cape to Cape 7km hike from Conto’s to Redgate Beach – one of the most scenic sections of the track. Enjoy a refreshing swim at the beach before exploring the town of Margaret River itself, known for an eclectic mix of surfer shops and galleries. Next, wander through the pristine forest of Warren National Park in the Walpole Wilderness region to see ancient Karri trees, magical views, and lots of wildlife. Tonight’s camp is at the idyllic Peaceful Bay, a perfect spot for sunset, campfires, and stargazing.

Day 3 - Walpole to Albany Region
Next on your itinerary is the William Bay National Park with insanely blue water and sand as white as snow. With free time to swim at Green Pool and wander along the coastline, you won’t want to miss the incredible granite bluffs formed from years of natural erosion. Travel on to the Porongorups, incredible rock formations that are over 1100 million years old, with a suspended skywalk for the most scenic views through the 670 metre peaks. Drive through the picturesque Stirling Ranges before setting up camp at a private campground at Mt Trio.

Day 4 - Mt Trio to Cape Le Grand National Park
Today you’ll be travelling into Esperance itself, sitting in Cape Le Grand National Park, with a turquoise ocean and beautiful bays to explore. Made up of nine National Parks, this region of Australia is known for some of the most beautiful and idyllic beaches in the world. Experience a Dabungool Cultural ‘Connect to Country’ ceremony before a guided walk along the coast to learn about the ways of the Wugjari people. Drive along the enchanting Great Ocean Drive with a stop at Twilight Beach for an afternoon dip, before arriving at the picturesque Lucky Bay where you’ll camp under the stars for the next two nights.

Day 5 - Cape Le Grand National Park
Wake up nice and early for a sacred sunrise, accompanied by the friendly Western Grey Kangaroos, before a full day of exploring this incredible National Park. One of Australia’s most bio diverse regions, soak up some beach time, venture through untamed landscapes, swim in fantastic bays and learn all about the lush bushlands.

Day 6 - Esperance to Peth
Your last day of travels will not disappoint – as today you’ll be exploring quintessential outback towns, with a stop at the 2700 million year old Wave Rock. Rising 15 metres above ground and formed in a perfect rock wave, this is a perfect photo opportunity. Visit the town of York, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and stipend in interesting history, before the peaceful drive back to Perth, arriving around 6:30pm.
