TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms & Conditions for Student Travel Australia. Your travel arrangements have been organized by Student Travel Australia ("us" or "we") based on the following terms and conditions. The enclosed ticket(s) ("voucher(s)") have been secured by us on your behalf through various third-party Service Providers. Each Service Provider may have specific terms and conditions that apply to your travel. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the fare rules of each booking and the individual supplier terms & conditions. If you need additional information beyond what is provided on your travel voucher or brochure, we recommend contacting the Service Provider directly for further clarification. Student Travel Australia acts as an intermediary Travel Agency. When you purchase travel-related services through us, we receive a commission from the third-party suppliers operating the services. We utilize a third-party wholesale platform for booking with each service provider. Prices are dynamic and subject to change at the discretion of the supplier.
1. BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS: Your Responsibilities. Trips with booked dates: It is your responsibility to ensure that the dates on vouchers are accurate and correspond to your itinerary, including any Greyhound Passes, campervans, and bed nights. You must reconfirm all booked dates 48 hours prior to travel or as stated on your voucher. Dietary requirements should also be confirmed at this time. Ensure the redemption of your tickets on the booked dates. Open Dated tickets: You are responsible for booking your preferred travel date in advance with each individual Service Provider, following the details provided on your voucher. Open-dated tickets are subject to supplier price fluctuations.
2. DATE CHANGES: Changes to booked dates may incur additional supplier fees. If you wish to change dates, coordinate directly with the Service Provider with adequate notice. Administrative fees will apply if either you or the Service Provider requires us to change your dates.
3. DEPOSITS: Deposits or partial payments for planned tours, accommodation, transport, and travel itineraries are non-refundable. A 1.6% card fee is charged on top of any payment made, which is also non-refundable.
4. CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS: Fees paid to Student Travel Australia for credit card fees, deposits, bus tickets, and luggage storage are non-refundable or transferable. If you cancel your activities or accommodation, a 50% Cancellation Fee will be applied. You may also be liable for cancellation fees charged by the Service Provider.For instances deemed out of your control, we recommend obtaining travel/cancellation insurance. Cancellation requests must be in writing and sent via email to: support@studenttravelaustralia.com
5. CAR & CAMPERVAN RENTALS: Deposits paid to Student Travel Australia for car and/or campervan rentals are non-refundable. Standard cancellation policies apply if full payment has been made.
6. PRICES: While we aim to offer the best value tours at the best prices, we are not responsible for price fluctuations before final payment. The price of your travel is subject to change until payment in full.
7. DIVE ACTIVITIES: (a) When booking Scuba Diving activities, declare relevant medical conditions. (b) Declare not taking prescribed medicine or drug (excluding oral contraceptives), not being pregnant, and not flying within 24 hours of completing a dive. Failure to declare may result in a 100% cancellation fee.
8. TRAVEL/CANCELLATION INSURANCE: We recommend obtaining travel insurance. It is your responsibility to purchase insurance covering any liability to us or a Service Provider and other travel misadventures. Cancellation Reduction Protection (CRP) is available for purchase.
9. SERVICE PROVIDERS: We strive to offer tours meeting your expectations but do not assume responsibility for matters arising during individual tours with Service Providers.
10. EXTRA COSTS: Many tours have additional expenses, varying for each Service Provider. Confirm these costs when booking.
11. PASSPORT, VISA, VACCINATION, and IMMIGRATION: Fulfill passport, visa, vaccination, and immigration requirements for all destinations. We are not responsible for travel issues due to non-compliance.
12. NATURAL DISASTERS, EPIDEMICS, PANDEMICS, AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS: In rare events of Natural Disasters, Epidemics, Pandemics, or Government-Imposed Travel Restrictions preventing completion of your booking, a full refund less a 20% administration fee and applicable supplier fees may be provided.Important Checklist: By proceeding with your tours & accommodation vouchers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined by Student Travel Australia.
