Where Waves Dance, and Serenity Finds its Rhythm
One of Australia’s most famous surf towns, Byron Bay is a popular destination for it’s beautiful beaches, relaxed vibe and alternative lifestyle. Full of natural beauty, including plenty of idyllic white beaches, crystal clear waters and tropical rainforest.
With magic in its soul, this place can be seen sparkling from high above. It’s little wonder that its community has one of the highest concentrations of surfers, outdoor enthusiasts, musicians, artists, movers, and shakers from around the globe. If you need reminding of what it’s all truly about, then get yourself to Byron and reconnect with life.
Kayak with the dolphins that are regularly spotted playing in the waves along with the surfers, and throughout May to October you can take a boat trip to observe the magnificent humpback whales as they migrate from Antarctica to the warmer waters for their mating season.
Byron is also a great location for skydiving, with incredible views of the spectacular beaches and hinterland all the way to Brisbane. Another place to appreciate the stunning views is from the Cape Byron Lighthouse. Take the lighthouse walk along the coast and through patches of rainforest to reach Australia’s most easterly point, where looking out to the vast sea you’ll often spot dolphins, whales and turtles. Nearby attractions include Nightcap National Park, home to the breathtaking Minyon Falls and Protester Falls. With heaps of art, hippy culture and friendly vibes Byron Bay is the perfect place to cheer up, slow down, chill out.
